The room was pretty cramped, and the TV was tiny. Our bathroom had a broken toilet seat and some weird issues with hot water. The bed was comfy enough but the pillows didn’t give much support. Not super clean either, with dust around. Definitely needs some updates for sure.

I had a fantastic time exploring the nearby North Hertfordshire Museum, which was just about 500 meters away, and enjoyed the lovely strolls through Purwell Meadows Nature Reserve, only a short 2 km walk, making my stay both enjoyable and convenient as a single traveler. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to discover the town.

Great match for taking strolls in Hitchin with very good value for money. I loved sitting in the overflow dining room, surrounded by antique books and looking out over the parkland. Check out the 19 acres for a relaxing walk.
